LG launches Whishen Thinking Air Conditioner. (AI ThinQ).

LG Electronics is introducing a new paradigm in the air conditioner market with the introduction of a whishen air conditioner, which is an artificial intelligence platform, which is a deep-think type.

LG's new product, the Deep Thinking, an artificial intelligence platform, is equipped with voice recognition technology and natural language processing technology developed by the air conditioner. Because Deep Thinking is based on Deep Learning technology, users learn their own language usage patterns. As a result, the more customers use the product, the higher the recognition rate.

The user can control the product by voice only within 3 meters (m) from the air conditioner. After you say "LG whishen", you can control various functions such as power on / off, temperature, wind strength and direction, and dehumidification / air cleaning.

For example, if a user says "LG Whishen" and says "Let the wind go up", the air conditioner changes the wind direction. Also, if you say "Make Smart Care Mode", the air conditioner answers "Smart Care Start" and works in smart care mode.

The new product also recognizes the user's natural response, such as "hot" and "cold," as well as a set of commands, and suggests whether it works first. In addition to operating the air conditioner, customers can easily check various information such as indoor temperature and humidity, air quality, filter condition, power consumption, outside weather and fine dust level by voice only.

The novelty is that Samsung is very close to get NPU (NETWORK PROCESSING UNIT) known also as AI chips and for the September UNPACKED 2018 event for the Galaxy Note 9 ,it will arrive with these AI chips in.
When an NPU is implemented in a smartphone in addition to the current central processing unit, graphic processing unit and other chips, the device itself can process, analyze and store data produced on the smartphone without the help of a cloud server. The NPU is widely called the brain of smartphones because its architecture looks like that of a human brain, according to scholars. 
In simple words, NPU or AI chips help  to boost capabilities of artificial intelligence software for servers and mobile devices.
Samsung is working on various AI projects with about 20 professors and nearly 100 researchers at Seoul National University, Pohang University of Science and Technology and Kaist. The company provides about 3 billion won ($2.8 million) for each university a year with a plan for three years, according to academia.   
“Samsung seems focused on developing much more efficient and secure chips than existing ones,” said Yoo Hoi-jun, a professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Technology. “By learning a lesson from the latest ‘Intel CPU gate,’ Samsung would develop AI processors whose architectures are more secure.”   
A public relations official at Samsung said, “Development of AI chips is underway led by Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology.”

MOTO G6 Plus, MOTO G6, MOTO G6 Play pictures and specifications leaked.

MWC 2018: SONY Xperia XZ Pro Coming With OLED 4K Screen and Snapdragon 845.

Sony is working on an OLED screen smartphone with a 4K resolution.

Sony flagship could come with a dual-camera using a 18MP sensor (a single pixel area of 1.33μm) and a 12MP sensor (a single pixel area of 1.38μm). On the front, it will carry a 13MP single camera. This is not surprising at all, because Sony is known for its great camera modules, and of course, it will put the best ones on its phones.

Proprietary Deep Learning Platform to Power Product Development.

LG Electronics is developing its proprietary deep learning-based artificial intelligence technology with the rollout of its own AI development tool to all LG business divisions in line with its efforts to speed up the release of new products equipped with the latest technology.

DeepThinQ 1.0 was developed last year with the establishment of LG’s Artificial Intelligence Lab in Korea to accelerate research into AI. The platform enables easy integration of AI into a wider range of products, allowing LG product developers to apply deep-learning technologies to future products. In line with the open strategy of its recently announced AI brand ThinQ, LG products developed with DeepThinQ – from mobile devices to home appliances – will deliver a comprehensive user experience by linking a host of technologies and solutions to its state-of-the-art AI platform.

DeepThinQ 1.0 boasts AI functions such as voice, video and sensor recognition and space and human body detection, developed with data gleaned from usage habits of LG customers over the years. LG says WebOS 3.5 is the latest and current WebOS platform for Smart TVs.

There were a few rumors and maybe confusion about LG WebOS platform Updates that are firmware new versions instead. We made some questions to LG Electronics LGUS about it  and  they answered as follows:

LG G7 could steal the MWC 2018 show. Picture leaks.

TigerMobiles have obtained a rendering of what they say is the upcoming LG G7. Although details are scant on what exactly the smartphone might offer, the image appears to show a device with a screen-to-body ratio that could top what you'd find in this year's Galaxy S9.

The image shows an exceedingly thin bezel at the top where the earpiece and front-facing camera is located. Around the sides and the bottom of the handset, the bezel is practically eliminated, creating the appearance of a device covered entirely by a screen.

LG, it seems, has found a way to remove the bottom bezel.

The LG G7 is anticipated to house a Snapdragon 835 chipset combined with 6GB of RAM. The phone will come with a Quick Charge 4.0 feature, dual front camera and dual rear camera alongside the fingerprint sensor.

If that above picture is the real deal the LG G7 could steal the upcoming MWC 2017 show.
